With a design that highlights a deeply lush and creamy filling contained in a crisp wafer casing, they are neither a bar nor a biscuit, letting PODS stand proudly on their own as a perfectly petite sized snack. An indulgent treat to savour alone, or better still, to share with friends.
The sensory tones of the luscious drips and drops add richness and indulgence, promising us the familiar flavours we love in our favourite brands and capped off with a decadent chocolate swirl. A treat that’s just enough and not too much. The redesign of the core range plus people staying home during the Covid-19 pandemic, saw increased sales of bite size chocolate treats (including the new creamy marshmallow and chocolate S’mores variant), and led to PODS growing over 7% and at a rate faster than the category as a whole.
