    THE challenge

    To counter the increased competition from international rivals, we needed to embed Western Star as the butter of choice for future generations of Australians.

    THE solve

    Celebrating 90 years being made in the original factory in Cobden. A watermarked mail stamp proudly declares its Western District’s home and heritage. A bigger and brighter red star speaks strongly to the enduring promise that the butter is great, and the flavour is real.

    THE results

    Putting pride into a star, Western Star was able to unlock over 15% growth in value and 20% MAT growth in 2020.
